At Sanctuary Farm Philadelphia, we're sowing the seeds of health, community, and sustainability. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and urban farm located in the heart of North Philadelphia, dedicated to promoting positive change within our community. Our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide fresh, organically grown produce and implement programs that enhance the health and well-being of our residents.
Sanctuary Farm is dedicated to tackling the health disparities arising from systemic racial inequality and economic injustices. We achieve this by transforming neglected and abandoned spaces within our community into welcoming, nourishing, and thriving environments that prioritize safety and well-being.

OUR PROGRAMS
At Sanctuary Farm we provide a space where we can learn, share, and grow together.
THE FARM STAND
At our Farm Stand, we're dedicated to providing North Philly residents with a taste of fresh, free produce grown right at our farm. Join us every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 AM to 12 PM at 22nd and Cecil B. Moore, and on Saturdays from 12 PM to 2 PM at 24th and Berks. This is our way of ensuring that nutritious, organic goodness is within reach for our community. The vast majority of what we distribute to the community is grown right on our farm! We supplement our own harvest with fresh fruit and other produce that we do not currently grow.

EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMMING
At Sanctuary Farm, we offer diverse educational programs tailored to our community's needs. From therapeutic gardening for all to specialized support for veterans, our classes cover gardening, beekeeping, cooking, and herbal studies. Our Veggie Script Program addresses healthcare challenges like diabetes and hypertension by providing access to fresh produce and nutrition education. Join us in embracing nature's healing benefits and learning valuable skills for a healthier lifestyle.
SHOP LOCAL HONEY
Indulge in the sweet taste of nature with our local honey, a golden nectar created by the diligent bees that pollinate Sanctuary Farm.
