2017

SANCTUARY FARM PHILA WAS FOUNDED

  • Breaking Ground at corner of 24th and West Berks St. – Mother’s Day, 2017

  • Built beds

  • First planting took place

  • The first vegetable was harvested! 

  • Harvested sweet potatoes with the neighborhood children

  • Harvested 1,082 pounds of fresh produce

2018

2ND LOCATION DEVELOPMENT

  • Broke ground at second2nd site at the, corner of 22nd and Cecil B. Moore

  • Families and friends coming together to learn, discover, and play

  • Drexel Engineering students installed solar panels

  • Taught gardening to children at the Project HOME and Honickman Learning Center summer camp

  • Implemented our first “Veggie Script” Program

  • Harvested 1,887 pounds of fresh produce
